James T. Berger is a consummate multi-faceted sales and marketing professional who specializes in helping businesses become more profitable and productive through the development of sales and marketing strategies and written marketing plans. He helps give businesses direction on how to develop new customer/client relationships while retaining existing relationships; developing cost-efficient yet hard-hitting sales and marketing communications programs for new and existing products and services. One of the import ant facets of his work is providing sales organizations with outsourced sales management services. This is particularly valuable to companies with several sales professionals but without a dedicated sales manager. Berger not only does the strategic planning but also works hands-on with clients to implement the program. A graduate of the University of Michigan, he has a Master's Degree in Journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. In addition to operating his own consulting business, Berger is a faculty member at Walter E. Heller College of Business Administration at Roosevelt University where he teaches courses in Marketing Management, Strategic Marketing, Selling and Sales Management, Consumer Buyer Behavior and Retail Merchandising & Control.
